The SpilMax 240L Universal Economy Spill Kit is a cost-effective option from SpilMax’s range of spill kit products. It comes in a wheeled bin that serves as a portable spill control station, making it easy to transport to the location of a spill. This spill kit includes all the necessary absorbents and materials that a general-purpose workplace spill response kit should have. It is perfect for any area where liquids are stored or could potentially be spilled.

SpilMax’s Universal Spill Kits are designed to clean up a wider range of liquids, including oils, fuels, water, coolants, general workplace chemicals, and common agricultural chemicals. They are typically used in applications where there are various risks and contaminants. However, as Universal absorbents can also absorb water, they are not recommended for oil-on-water spills.

The SpilMax spill kit features a biodegradable SpilMax® Natura-Sorb Floor Sweep made in Australia. Natura-Sorb is composed of organic wood and cellulose fibres that are treated, pelletised, and processed to produce a granulated floor sweep. This floor sweep effectively cleans up hydrocarbons, water-based liquids, solvents, cooking oils, sewage, and protein liquids. Its granular texture provides an appropriate weight for easier application and prevents excessive dust while offering rapid absorption and full encapsulation.

This Workplace Spill Kit comes in a heavy-duty HDPE wheeled bin with a hinged lid, which keeps the contents clean and dry. The moveable spill kits are suitable for use in workshops, warehouses, production areas, construction sites, and decanting areas. The bins are UV-resistant, and Spill Kit Covers can be added to ensure they are fully weatherproof when stored in exposed areas.

The absorbent booms and pillows in the SpilMax spill kit have printing that indicates what they can absorb. Additionally, each spill kit has instructions located on the outside of the bag for easy reference during a spill clean-up. SpilMax’s range of absorbents undergoes extensive testing to ensure their absorbency and performance.
